Fractional yacht ownership · Est. 2019
YachtShare sells deeded 1/12, 1/8 and 1/4 shares in a crewed, insured, professionally maintained fleet — nine yachts, twelve home ports, one owner app. You hold the title. We hold the invoices.
Whole ownership means financing a 34-metre asset that spends 340 days a year in a berth, then paying a yard, a crew agency and an insurance broker to keep it there. A YachtShare fraction gets you the same hull, the same crew and the same weeks, with the idle days shared with seven other owners instead of your balance sheet.

Every fraction carries a fixed night allowance. Live availability across the fleet and all twelve ports sits in one calendar, so you can book twelve months ahead or grab a spare week on Thursday.
Captain, engineer, steward and chef are on permanent payroll. Fuel, berthing, provisioning, customs paperwork and end-of-trip cleaning are included in your annual dues — no provisioning allowance, no surprise invoice.
Trade weeks with other owners, move your booking to a different hull or a different sea, or list your fraction for sale. Typical resale completes in about thirty days at published, transparent pricing.
Every hull is MCA-coded and commercially surveyed, with a permanent crew and a fleet-wide maintenance programme.
Motor yachts for range and comfort, sailing yachts for the quiet ones, catamarans for shallow anchorages and families. Every hull is crewed, coded and covered by the same fleet policy — your fraction travels between them.
A home port is where your yacht lives and where the crew, berth and maintenance base sit. Owners may move a booking to any other port in the network, subject to availability, at no extra cost.
Monaco, Cannes, Saint-Tropez and the Îles de Lérins — a 40-mile run between dinner reservations.
Palma, Ibiza and Menorca, with anchorages at Formentera reachable in a half-day passage.
Split, Hvar and the Kornati islands — 1,200 islands, sheltered anchorages and short hops.
Naples, Capri, Ischia and the Aeolian islands, with Stromboli on the evening passage.
Corfu, Paxos and Lefkada — flat water, pine-backed coves and the easiest sailing in the Med.
Athens to Mykonos, Milos and the Small Cyclades, with the meltemi kept off the bow.
There is one number that decides whether a yacht makes sense: days used per year. A YachtShare fraction moves that number from 21 to 45 without adding a single invoice to your desk.Yacht economics, 2026 owner report
Every tier includes the same crew, insurance, berthing and maintenance. What changes is how much of the calendar you own — and how far up the fleet your fraction reaches.
For owners who want a proper yacht and four good trips a year.
The balance point: six weeks on the water, whole-fleet access.
Three months a year, the flagship included, two yachts at once.
An owner's time should be spent deciding where to anchor next, not chasing a yard manager. Each benefit below is included in every tier, at every fraction size.
Every hull carries a permanent, MCA-licensed crew on our payroll: captain, engineer, steward, and a chef on the larger yachts. Nobody meets your boat for the first time on the morning you arrive — they know where you keep the coffee and how you like the tender launched.
Your fraction is a key to the network. Move a booking to another hull, another port or another sea — no renegotiation, no re-charter fee, no explanation required.
See the twelve portsSend a list, or nothing at all. Groceries, a sommelier's cellar, dive gear, restaurant tables, babysitting, helicopter transfers and marina berths ashore are arranged before you land.
Fleet insurance with $10m third-party cover, long-lease berths in every home port, haul-outs, class surveys, crew training and payroll — all inside the annual dues.
Availability across the whole fleet, instant holds, week trading with other owners, provisioning requests and your yacht's fuel, crew and maintenance log — in one place.
First refusal on peak weeks, guaranteed festive slots for Owner's Circle fractions, and invitations to two owner regattas and three long-table dinners a year.
The 1/4 fraction runs two yachts in two ports during the same weeks: the family on one hull, guests on the other, both crewed, both provisioned, both yours. It is the closest thing to a small fleet without buying one.
Compare the fractions“We sold a 28-metre that spent 300 days a year tied up. Our 1/8 share sailed more last summer than that boat did in four years — and the yard has never once rung me.”
“I ring the concierge on a Thursday evening. By Saturday the yacht is provisioned, crewed and waiting off Porquerolles. In eleven years of chartering I never once got that level of service.”
“The swap desk moved our whole booking from Croatia to the Ionian because of a school-holiday clash. Two emails. No invoice, no drama, no argument about whose week it was.”
Share prices, crew lists, the berth lease, the last three years of maintenance history and the resale valuation for every fraction — sent as one document, usually within a working day.
Thank you — the ownership desk has your enquiry. A named advisor replies within one working day, usually with the pack attached.
