Where silence speaks and nature heals
Our natural hot spring draws from a source discovered over 300 years ago. The alkaline water is renowned for its skin-softening properties — the Japanese call it bijin-no-yu, the "beauty spring."
The open-air rotenburo is carved from natural stone, surrounded by ancient cedar trees. In winter, snow collects on the bamboo fence while steam rises into the cold air. In summer, fireflies drift past at dusk.
All baths are 100% free-flowing from the source — never recycled, never diluted.
Experience the OnsenBamboo shoots, sea bream, cherry blossom garnishes. Light, delicate flavours awakening from winter.
Ayu sweetfish, edamame, chilled somen noodles. Cool, refreshing courses for warm evenings.
Matsutake mushrooms, Pacific saury, persimmon. Rich, earthy flavours of the harvest season.
Crab, fugu, hot pot. Warming, hearty courses served in handmade ceramic vessels.
