same pet, same day — that’s the PawSpa difference
We built PawSpa around one rule: a groom should never be scary. Here is how we make that true every day.
No cages, no drying boxes, no sedation. We work at your pet’s pace with calm voices, treats and breaks — and we’ll stop and reschedule if a pet is having a hard day.
Every stylist holds a professional grooming qualification and a pet first-aid certificate, with ongoing training in low-stress techniques.
pH-balanced, sulphate-free shampoos and vegan conditioners — with fragrance-free and medicated options for sensitive skin.
You see the price before we begin. If a coat turns out to need more work, we call you for a yes — never a surprise on collection.
Separate cat room, quiet-hours slots for nervous pets, glass-fronted grooming bays so you can watch the whole visit, and free parking right outside the door on Rosy Lane.
Founder & Lead Groomer
Level 4 certified with 14 years on the table. A wizard with doodles, and the person your nervous pet will remember fondly.
Senior Stylist
Breed-standard specialist for terriers and schnauzers, and our go-to for hand-stripping and show-ready finishes.
Feline Specialist
Runs our quiet, dog-free cat room. Patient, towel-savvy and endlessly good at winning over the sceptical tabby.
Grooming is a partnership. These are the small things our groomers wish every pet parent knew — do them and your pet’s coat stays healthier, and salon visits get shorter and calmer.
Daily brushing cuts hairballs, and a professional bath every 8–12 weeks keeps a long coat mat-free.
Work in small sections, starting at the back and finishing at the face. Short coats need a rubber mitt once a week; long coats need a slicker brush every other day, right down to the skin.
2 minutes a dayWater tightens tangles into felt. A mat close to the skin hides the skin, so scissors are how pets get nicked. Bring the mat to us and we’ll lift it out safely, or clip the coat humanely short.
Safety firstHandle each paw for a few seconds, lift an ear flap, run a finger along the gums — then give a treat. A pet that accepts handling at home sails through nail trims and ear cleans.
Builds trustMost pets do best on a 4–6 week rhythm: nails stay short, ears stay clear and the coat never reaches the point of matting. Re-book at the desk and save 10% on every third groom.
Save 10% on visit 3No hidden extras. Find your pet’s weight band, then read across — the price you see is the price you pay, unless a coat needs more time (and we always ask first).

“Our rescue greyhound used to shake in the car park. Marisol sat on the floor with him for ten minutes before a single brush came out. Three visits later he walks in by himself.”
“I’ve paid double this elsewhere and never got a haircut this good on my doodle. They texted me a photo mid-groom so I knew he was fine — that alone earned me for life.”
“Two long-haired cats, one very suspicious. Noor’s quiet room is the only place that has ever worked — and the price list matched the invoice to the dollar.”
Tell us about your pet and we’ll confirm your slot by email within one working hour. It takes about a minute — and there’s no deposit needed.
Bath & Blow-Dry runs about an hour, The Full Groom around 90 minutes, and Spa Day Deluxe up to two and a half hours. Double coats and matted coats can take longer — we’ll always tell you before we start and text you when your pet is ready.
Never. We are a fear-free studio: no sedation, no cage drying, no forced standing. Every pet is towel-dried and hand blow-dried at their own pace, with breaks and treats whenever they need them.
If your pet is genuinely distressed, we’ll do as much as they can comfortably manage, stop, and plan a slower approach over a couple of short visits instead.
Bathing a matted coat makes it worse, so we assess it dry first. If the matting is salvageable we’ll de-tangle with conditioner and a lot of patience; if it’s tight to the skin, the kindest option is usually a short clip — and the coat grows back beautifully.
Matting removal starts at +$30 and is always quoted, with photos, before we pick up a single tool. We will never shave a pet without your approval.
Yes — cats are groomed by our feline specialist in a separate, dog-free room with its own entrance. We offer full grooms, lion clips, de-shedding and sanitary trims. Cats must arrive in a secure carrier and be up to date with vaccinations.
We ask for current core vaccinations (or a valid titre test) and that your pet has been treated for fleas and ticks in the last 30 days. If your pet is unwell, coughing, or has had diarrhoea in the previous 48 hours, please reschedule — it keeps every pet in the studio safe.
Tell us within 48 hours and we’ll fix it. Trims and tidies inside that window are free of charge, and if something is genuinely our error we’ll make it right at no cost to you.
Of course — up to 24 hours before your slot, free of charge, by phone or email. Later than that we ask for 50% of the service price, because that slot usually can’t be re-filled at short notice.
