Complex liability disputes take longer, but your named specialist tells you the realistic timeline on day one rather than at week three.
Can I choose my own repair shop?
Yes. You can use any licensed repairer you trust. If you choose one of our 4,200 network shops you get a lifetime guarantee on the workmanship, direct billing so you never front the cost, and priority scheduling — typically a two-day turnaround instead of a week.
Is roadside assistance really included, or is it an upsell?
It's standard on every DriveSure policy at no extra premium: towing to 100 miles, jump starts, flat tyre changes, lockout entry, fuel or EV charge delivery and winching. There's no per-call charge and no annual call limit for a genuine breakdown. It covers you in any car you're driving with permission, not just the one on the policy.
How do the discounts get applied?
Everything you qualify for is applied automatically before the price is shown — there is no coupon to enter and nothing to reclaim later. Most programs stack: a safe driver with two cars who pays in full and opts into telematics typically combines four. The only exceptions are student and low-mileage, which can't both apply to the same vehicle.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Cancel online in two clicks, any time, with no exit fee. You're refunded pro-rata for unused days within five business days. If you cancel inside the first 30 days and haven't made a claim, you get a full refund of the premium.
Will a quote affect my credit score?
No. Quoting is a soft enquiry and has no effect on your credit file. We may run a hard enquiry only if you accept a policy and choose monthly instalments — and we tell you before we do it.
