The fine art of
the everyday

Crown & Co. is a grocer of considered things — produce chosen by hand, pantry goods worth keeping, and a cellar that knows its seasons.

Rooms open Tuesday to Sunday · Deliveries by arrangement
A word from the shop

“We do not sell everything. We sell the things worth keeping — chosen slowly, priced honestly, and wrapped like a gift even when it is only tomorrow’s supper.”

The Crown Family Grocers & Purveyors
The Pantry

Four shelves of
considered things

Every product earns its place twice — once on the shelf, and once more when you come back for it.

Fresh greens and vegetables No. 01

Fresh & Garden

Produce chosen each morning from growers we know by name, then trimmed, not arranged to impress.

Baked sourdough loaves No. 02

Bread & Larder

Loaves from a wood oven up the road, preserves in small batches, and oils pressed this season.

A cellar shelf of fine wine bottles No. 03

The Cellar

Wines and small-batch spirits chosen for the table, not the trophy cabinet — with notes, not scores.

Everyday household goods, simply arranged No. 04

Home & Care

Candles, soaps and the small essentials of a well-kept house — useful first, beautiful always.

Our rooms

One shop, four rooms

The floor plan never changes — you will always know where your regulars live.

Fresh & Garden +

Morning deliveries of produce and flowers, arranged by season rather than by shelf plan. Ask at the counter what arrived before sunrise.

Bread & Larder +

Bread lands warm at eight, and the larder keeps its jars, oils and preserves in the shade of the north wall.

The Cellar +

A cool, quiet room of wines and spirits with handwritten notes and a tasting corner on Fridays.

Home & Care +

The useful room — candles, soaps, linens and the small tools of a well-kept house, chosen to be used, not admired.

The Weekly Selection
